Free-form Frying

This post is dedicated to my cousin, for whom I would like to fry things soon.

Using this:

Tonight I put the cookbook down and let my imagination run wild. I pulled a packet of pinapple tofu from the fridge and instantly thought, “wow this would be better with something fried! (what isn’t, right?)” I opened the fridge again and pulled out half a red onion, sliced two 1/4 inch thick pieces off. I separated the two rings to get 3 rings of varrying sizes. Then, using the egg replacer just as you use an egg when battering and frying something in the non-vegan universe, I dipped the rings, then covered them in flour and let them cook (on both sides) in hot, hot vegetable oil.
Served on top of the tofu, YUM!

Fried Onions are to the viewers right.

The only thing I would change about this method would be to add salt!
