Going the Distance: Yoga for Athletes

This weekend, Feb. 3, I’ll be leading an extended sequence designed for athletes at Square One Yoga Collective in Emeryville, CA. During this class athletes  can explore their full range of motion, get a sense of their body’s movement potential and indulge in some restorative poses. I’m looking forward to posting the sequence and sharing more information about how yoga helps an athlete’s body strengthen and recover. Here’s a sneak peak of a few of the poses this sequence will cover:
